What can say except THANK YOU to as that was an extraordinary a Mandela Day! Our warehouses are bulging, and our hearts are bursting with gratitude. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for believing in us and for supporting our bold and brave Mandela Day initiative. Your contribution of zip-lock bags was a huge contributing factor in ensuring the success of our project this year.
Ladles of Love Mandela Day events are our biggest annual fundraisers and importantly, raise much needed awareness around the plight of child food poverty affecting little ones in our country. Your kindness and generosity have enabled us to sustain our programme, allowing us to support preschool education through nutrition.
Over the coming weeks and months, we will share the joy of the kids, teachers and principals receiving all the items produced and food packed on Mandela Day, on our social media. Our Donor Impact Report will come out later in the year once we have had a chance to measure and evaluate the true value of this extraordinary initiative.
